Tutoring

The teachers are willing to offer their time after school from 3:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m. to tutor the students in any given subject they need help in. It assists them to feel more confident during class time with other students. It is a time where the teachers can have one on one time with the students. Many students improve their grades which allows them to be involved in other extracurricular activities.

Lady Aztec Dance/Drill Team

The students learn various choreographed dances which are composed of current music beats and trends along with multi-cultural beats and choreography. They also learn military drill team. These are sharp, military style movements that involve counting, keeping beat, marching, moving formations and basic gymnastic flexibility. Students benefit from the level of discipline, learning the routine and working together to demonstrate great teamwork and dedication to one common goal.

Marian & St. Dominic Savio Clubs

It provides a fun, safe and educational learning environment for our young girls to grow in faith and friendship. The goal of this organization is to foster a greater love for Mary and to help the young to grow in their Catholic faith. This is done through educational, recreational, faith formation, and service based activities. Activities include: prayer, service projects, art and crafts, cooking, dancing, gardening, drama, fames and more.

Yearbook Club

St. Mary School’s Yearbook is all computer based. Two teachers help students to design the yearbook, using the computers. Students are taught to use clip art, text art and creating their own pages with different types of computer software. Having the yearbook staff working with technology rather than doing it by hand allows the students to experience page design and different types of computer applications that will help them in the real world.
